Book Launch Event of "Man Ki Nagri" by Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Ashraf Asmi at Lahore High Court

At the grand book launch event for Ashraf Asmi’s new book "Mann Ki Nagri" held in Karachi Martyrs Hall at Lahore High Court, various speakers, national and social leaders, and distinguished lawyers shared their thoughts on the book. A large number of lawyers, members of civil society, scholars, and people from various walks of life attended the event.
Addressing the audience, the author Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Ashraf Asmi Advocate emphasized that love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is embedded in our blood, and "Mann Ki Nagri" is essentially about the relationship between a believer and Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Ashraf Asmi remarked that in the universe, Allah has bestowed the highest status upon the prophets and messengers.
Former President of Lahore High Court Bar and Member of Pakistan Bar Council, Pir Masood Chishti, congratulated Ashraf Asmi Advocate on the publication of "Mann Ki Nagri" and highlighted his efforts to make legal knowledge accessible to the public through video lectures and books. Former President of Lahore High Court Bar and Member of Pakistan Bar Council, Hafizur Rahman Chaudhry, described "Mann Ki Nagri" as a breath of fresh air in these troubled times and praised Ashraf Asmi for his dedicated work in the legal field.
Former Secretary of Lahore High Court Bar and Chairman of the Education Committee of Punjab Bar Council, Barrister Muhammad Ahmed Qayyum, in his speech, emphasized the interconnection between "Mann Ki Nagri" and the legal profession. He praised the reflection of societal issues in the book and highlighted the impact of inflation and the increase in court fees on the public. He congratulated Ashraf Asmi on the publication of the book.
Allama Muhammad Qasim Alvi also congratulated Ashraf Asmi on the publication of "Mann Ki Nagri" and prayed for his success in serving humanity through the legal profession. Allama Qasim Alvi criticized the Supreme Court’s decision on the finality of prophethood, calling it contrary to Islam and the Constitution of Pakistan. Syed Muhammad Mazahir Hashmi noted that those who seek Allah are sincere and devoted, likening them to people who surrender themselves to the Creator in the cave of Hira.
Dr. Qurat-ul-Ain highlighted that Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Ashraf Asmi, although a lawyer by profession, is also a lover of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). She mentioned that the first "lawyer" of this universe is Allah Himself and that those who recite "Ya Wakeel" are under the protection of Allah. She emphasized the advocacy role of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for widows, the poor, the disabled, and even birds.
Prominent lawyer, poet, writer, and columnist Ali Ahmad Kiyani remarked that Ashraf Asmi has sparked a revolution in society with "Mann Ki Nagri." He emphasized the importance of recognizing oneself and reflecting on the universe and related matters.
Chairman of Pakistan Civil Society, Ali Imran Shaheen, acknowledged the revolutionary message of "Mann Ki Nagri." Dr. Farid Ahmad Pracha stressed the importance of unity for peace and brotherhood in society. Dr. Nabila Tariq Advocate congratulated Ashraf Asmi on the publication of "Mann Ki Nagri" and called it a national service. Central President of World Columnist Club, Muhammad Nasir Iqbal Khan, presented a resolution to refer to God as "Allah" instead of "Khuda."
Trustee and Secretary of Dr. AQ Khan Hospital Trust, Dr. Shaukat Work, praised "Mann Ki Nagri" as highly beneficial for society and recommended it for every household. Riaz Ahmad Ihsan congratulated the author on the publication and discussed the profound essays in the book.
Former Vice President of Sargodha Bar, Saadia Huma Sheikh, described "Mann Ki Nagri" as the voice of a humble soul and congratulated Ashraf Asmi. Editor of Daily Tijarat, Malik Muhammad Moazzam, expressed his thoughts on "Mann Ki Nagri," congratulated the author, and offered a special prayer at the end of the program. Legal expert Muhammad Rehan Akhtar regarded the publication of Ashraf Asmi’s book as an honor for the lawyer community.
In this dignified event, prominent lawyers Armaghan Masood, Hakim Mian Yusuf Qadri, Mumtaz Arif, Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam, Badr Chishti, Aamir Farooq, Hasan Kamal Pasha, Dr. Raheel Rafiq, Saqib Iftikhar, Haji Shabbir Randhawa, Saeed Ali Imran, Nasir Qadri, MH Shaheen, Muhammad Akram Qadri, Huzaifa Ashraf Asmi, Pir Khawaja Umar Ashraf Asmi, Mian Muhammad Akram, Mian Muhammad Azam, Falak Zahid, and others also spoke. The speakers emphasized that the success of a person lies in connecting with Allah and keeping the heart pure. They highlighted the need for spreading love in society and eliminating hatred. "Mann Ki Nagri" guides one on the path of connecting with Allah and purifying the heart.
The highlight of this grand book launch event was the presidency of Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam, the esteemed English teacher of Ashraf Asmi Advocate from Government Comprehensive High School Sargodha, during his sixth to eighth-grade classes. The event hosts were young lawyers Sahibzada Huzaifa Ashraf Asmi and Khawaja Pir Mian Muhammad Umar Ashraf Asmi.
